IVANAhelsinki is a family owned company that produces all its products in Finland. Its clothes are full of positive melancholy and hope of tomorrow ( tomorrowhope), camping spirit, homemade feeling and childhood memories. IVANAhelsinki clothes are art pieces with a slow-design identity and an idea of functionality.

We believe that there is a growing market for products and brands such as IVANAhelsinki. We are in the design business and yet we maintain an uncompromising and attractive image because of being small and independent. We are in the category which will grow in the future; we call it ”ethical luxus”. This means that we are a brand with luxus touch but very different from the traditional luxus brands: more bohemian and sophisticated with strong ecological and ethical identity. We believe that a growing number of ”aware”, New Premium Consumers who do not only want to look good in the clothes they choose and wear, but also want to feel well. FENNO FOLK
Thessical Finnish Design dates back to the 50’s when it truly strenghtened its position. This classica iconic, clal design is known for harmony, clear lines and bare, simple cuts. The forms are peaceful and solid.
The new design generation in Finland, names behind today’s contemporary Finnish Design have purposely breaken the harmony of colors and traditional forms with new experimental elements. The harmony in Fenno Folk style means breaking the harmony. Opposite elements are presented at the same time and they result the rough, genuine look of Fenno Folk.
At the core s a base element is the classical Finnish Design to which these new, surprising ideas are combined. Fenno Folk is now present in all areas of contemporary finnish Design, in furniture, glass, wood, clothing and interior design as well as in music and art.
Fenno Folk style is built on Scandinavian and Slavic culture heritage. They are both very strongly present in Finland since Finland even physically is between of Scandinavia and the Slavic world. Finland is not part of the Scandinavian countries, but geographically situated in Fennoscandia.
New Fenno Folk style is about combining opposite elements, slavic melancholity into Scandinavian freshness, solid, clear lines with something really decorative. Hand made details compliment bare, solid forms. Fenno Folk is colorful, experimental and avantgaard, new Finnish design.
